Wanhua Chemical successfully launched its first phase 70000t/a polycarbonate (PC) equipment in Yantai Industrial Park and achieved continuous production. The phosgenation interfacial polycondensation device was independently developed by Wanhua Chemical after more than ten years  arduous effort, and they complete independent intellectual property rights. 　 　　The series of products have been widely recognized in the market, a number of well-known world’s brands customers have reached a 2018 strategic cooperation agreement with Wanhua Chemical.
　　The new polycarbonate products have three outstanding advantages:
　　Excellent process stability and fully automatic operation, to ensure a little molecular weight fluctuation (±2%);
　　Innovative polymerization reaction technology, to guarantee a low percentage of residue and a high endcapping (＞97%);
　　Initiative low temperature devolatilization technology, to shun the process of high temperature treatment prior to PC extrusion (＜145℃).
